OUR PROGRAMS
Welcome to our martial arts and combat sports center! We are proud to offer our clients four exciting programs to choose from. Our Urban Combatives program focuses on reality-based self-defense, while our Balintawak Eskrima program teaches Filipino martial arts. For those interested in grappling, we offer the Killer Bees Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program, and for those looking for character development, our Killer Bees Taekwondo program is curriculum-driven and focused on building self-confidence, discipline, focus, and awareness. Grandmaster George Bell
GM Bell, 2013 Official Taekwondo Hall of Fame® Inductee has 50 years of experience training in the martial arts with his foundation in Taekwondo yet has black belt levels in 6 martial arts. In addition, over 30 years of teaching experience with martial arts and he is a certified Arizona educator in Scottsdale. GM Bell is a caring and loving instructor that wants to offer the best quality instruction to his students while assisting in their martial art development, while changing and empowering lives through the ongoing practice of martial arts physically, mentally and spiritually. We are dedicated to providing a safe and family-oriented martial arts experience for students of all ages. All four programs are led by internationally certified instructors and/or present and former world class athletes. We promote physical fitness and positive social interaction in a courteous and fun atmosphere. URBAN COMBATIVES
REALITY-BASED URBAN SELF DEFENSE FOR EVERYONE!
Martial Way Urban Combatives is a hybrid (dynamic and eclectic), reality based system of personal protection and martial art that utilizes techniques from multiple martial art systems with a heavy emphasis on practical, efficient, yet effective techniques. MWUC fills the reality-gap that many martial artists and individuals need to become complete and confident individuals that have true, assertive confidence to combat and avoid modern hostilities.
MWUC is a system that focuses on all aspects of combat: physical, tactical and mental. The system also utilizes principles of strength conditioning, bio-mechanics, physics, physiology and psychology. FBI statistics are utilized to strengthen the gap between the physical and mental. Knowledge of statistics assists in psychological preparation of combat. MWUC is a system and science that when properly practiced and studied, will benefit everyone from the teen to the adult, the novice to the advanced martial arts instructor, law enforcement personnel to the military tactical expert. MWUC will bridge the reality-gap and assist you in your personal protection needs.
